Glossary

The controlled vocabularies used across the portal — course categories, types, statuses and Polish document terms. These are the exact option values you'll see in dropdowns and status chips.

Course category

The welding/inspection discipline of a course. Options: MIG/MAG (135/136), TIG (141), MMA (111), SAW (121), FCAW (114/136), Gas Welding (311), Brazing, Plasma Cutting, Visual Testing (VT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Welding Inspector, Welding Coordinator, Health & Safety, ADR / ADN, Other.

Course delivery type

How the course is delivered: On-site, Online, Hybrid.

Certificate type (ADR/ADN)

Set on a course when it ends with a dangerous-goods transport certificate. Options: None / not applicable, ADR initial, ADR refresher, ADN expert, ADN expert — gas transport, ADN expert — chemical transport, Safety advisor.

Certificate template

Which completion-certificate layout the course generates: Automatic, Course-completion certificate (MEN), ADR/ADN certificate.

Course type (regulatory)

A radio option printed on the Polish MEN completion certificate (Dz.U. 2175): Course, General-competence course, Vocational-skills course.

Edition (instance) status

Lifecycle of a course edition: ScheduledIn ProgressCompleted, or Cancelled.

Enrollment status

A student's status within a course: Enrolled, Active, Completed, Cancelled, Pending.

Account status

Separate from enrollment — whether the student activated their FlexWelder/Passport account: - Pending activation — account created, but the student hasn't set a password / logged in yet. - Active — the student has activated their Passport account.

Payment status

Paid, Pending, Unpaid, Refunded.

Certificate validity status

Valid, Expiring Soon (within 90 days), Expired. Renewal buckets group expiring certificates as Critical (≤30 days), Warning (31–60 days), Upcoming (61–90 days).

Progress steps

The four trackable milestones of a course student: Lecture (attended), Practice (attended), Sample (sample weld test passed), Exam (passed). Used on the student card, attendance, and the completion report.

Polish document terms

  • Evidence number (numer ewidencyjny) — a per-edition reference like 122/FTT/K/2025 printed on certificates and protocols. Auto-format: {number}/{branch code}/K/{year}.
  • Branch code — short code (e.g. FTT) used to build the evidence number; set in Account settings.
  • Course-providers registry number (numer w rejestrze instytucji szkoleniowych) — printed on completion certificates (e.g. 26/2012/RPPKPTN); set in Account settings.
  • MEN completion certificate — the official Polish course-completion certificate template (Dz.U. 2175).
  • Completion report (a.k.a. ewidencja / "TÜV list") — the PDF list of students who passed the exam, prepared for a certifying body. See Completion report.
